Ever heard of Marco Polo? This tour takes you to his birth house and place still standing on the island of Korcula, the second most inhabited island in the Adriatic sea. Tour starts by our Driver picking you up from your hotel, as you drive towards the far south Croatian area witness the history of Ragusa Republic, stop by the beatiful town of Ston – where you will see the “Great wall of Ston” as it’s known, a 5.5 KM long fortress wall, visit the oldest salt factory in Europe. Continue the journey through the vineyards of Peljesac, where some of the fines Croatian wines are produced. After approximately 2 hours you will arrive at Orebic seaside town, where you will take a ferry boat to island of Korcula. Enjoy visiting the old town and it’s city walls, the St. Mark cathedral, perhaps the museum if you are interested. Then enjoy a free time exploring the beatiful turquise water beaches of the island.
